
WHAT IS RECYCLABLE ?
PAPER
Most paper products from ranging from white paper to carboard is recyclable. The following items are recyclable:
Cardboard boxes
Newspaper
Magazines
White paper
Coloured paper
Cereal boxes and alike
Other paper products such as diaries and leaflets

PLASTIC
The resin identification number (No.1-No.7) indicates whether a plastic item is recyclable. BRS accepts the following plastic items:
Plastic cold drink and water bottles (No.1)
Milk bottles and cleaning detergent bottles (No.2)
Hard number 5 plastics such as margarine containers and large yoghurt tubs
Bread packets and alcohol packaging (No.4)
BRS does NOT accept
Clear plastic trays
Polystyrene (No.6)
PVC (No.3)
Chip or crisp packets
No.7 items (most but not all dog food bags)

TINS AND CANS
BRS recycles all types and size of tins and cans. We accept the following items:
Light steel food tins
Aluminium beverage and beer cans
We do not accept aluminium food trays

BRS is a passionate recycler of all products, including glass. We accept all colours of glass
Glass (food and beverage glass)

TETRAPAK
The recycling of Tetreapak (liquid packaging) is on the rise in South Africa. BRS accepts
Long-life milk tetrapak
Fruit juice boxes
Please ensure you RINSE the items

E-WASTE
You can responsibly dispose of your electronic waste with BRS. We accept the following items:
Keyboards and mouse
Desktops and laptops
Smartphones, PDA's and cellphones
Power supplies
LCD monitors and televisions
Printer circuit boards
Modems
